If you're running Virtual Machines in Azure, take a few minutes and read this great blog post from Sandrino Di Mattia on how to secure your VMs. Why is this important? Looks like Microsoft saw an increase in attacks on Azure VMs in the recent weeks.
So at least:
- Change the default administrator name
- Use a strong password (no, P@ssw0rd won't do it!)
- Change the public RDP port
