New home wireless setup

A couple of months ago, I decided to change my D-Link DIR-857 router because I had enough with the constant connection drops.  Powering off and on every 2 weeks was necessary to make it work properly.  It was running hot and and the range was, well...abysmal.  I hesitated between the Linksys WRT1900AC and the Asus RT-AC68U and finally bought the Asus.

Since I installed it a couple of months ago, I didn't experienced any issues.  The range is exceptional compared to the D-Link and I didn't had to reboot it once.

What's amazing is that I get decent signal on the patio, none the less, I got the Amped Wireless REC10 range extender and that thing is simply amazing.  It's small but outputs up to 600mW of 2.4GHz signal.  Setup was fast and easy and the signal...pretty sure it can fry eggs :-)  I just plug it outside, it picks the Asus signal and creates a new network.

Very happy with both products.
